Introduction

This is my first post on this blog. The point is to help homeowners with their lawn and property. I run a small lawn service business and believe I can be of help to others. In the process I hope to gain traffic to my website ( georgialawncare.com) and hopefully new customers. Any questions please post a comment and / send an email to tinman23@alltel.net. Makes sure to subscribe to the blog via rss feed or your news reader or blog reader.
I'll start with a pet peeve of mine. When putting out plants or flowers in your yard, you need to have a plan. Don't just dig a hole and put the plant in the first place you like. You should think about how it will look as it grows, will it be bigger than is pleasing, will it block out other plants behind it? Also remember to use potting soil when planting it. And put some mulch or pinestraw around it. Also, if it is close to another bed make the mulch touch the mulch in the other bed so you do not leave a strip of grass that you can not fit your mower in between. If you set your lanscape up correctly you will have to weed eat less thus saving time for fun things!
